Our Kitchen Towels are inspired by the traditional hand-woven “Thorth” used in Kerala as a bath towel. “Thorth” is today fighting a losing battle with the mill-made towels and most of the “Thorth” weaving centres in Kerala are closing down. Green Heirloom Kitchen Towels, made from 100% cotton are sourced from traditional weavers in Central Kerala who still follow age-old hand-weaving methods.
